This webinar introduces practical guidelines for heat pump use in aquatic centres. Brendan Vos and Nick Tassigiannakis from the Bridgeford Group, along with Stephen Rodwell from Geelong City Council, discuss the installation of heat pumps at Kardinia Aquatic Centre in Geelong. Following the case study, Jarrod Leak from A2EP and Dr Ahmad Mojiri from RMIT University outline a number of practical considerations and other advice for implementing heat pumps specific to aquatic centres.

This case study was presented as part of a full webinar, Practical guidelines for heat pump installations, which took place on 21 July.

A2EP was engaged by the Victorian Department of Energy, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) to deliver webinars and technical guidelines to assist in industry capacity building for the new Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Commercial and Industrial Air-sourced Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) activity. The technical guidelines will be read by hundreds of end users and energy consultants that are investigating and potentially investing in heat pump technology.

This webinar series has been developed in collaboration with the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

Visit the Essential Services Commission website to learn about the commercial and industrial heat pump water heater activities able to be undertaken by accredited persons under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.
