Several keys in this Commodore Amiga 500 were failing. I ran some tests and it was pretty clear that several tracks in the membrane were damaged, which was confirmed when I opened it up and saw all the damage from moisture. The membrane was beyond repair, but I decided to fix one track just ot show how we would go about it.
Afterwards I swapped the membrane with a working one and... one key was still failing! It wasn't the membrane though. A look at the plunger material showed that it wasn't conductive enough, but it was an easy fix anyway.
