Daniel Lanois is a Canadian musician, producer, and songwriter who has made an indelible mark on the music industry. He first gained recognition in the 1980s for his innovative production techniques, which blended traditional and electronic instrumentation, and for his collaborations with visionary musician and producer Brian Eno.
