- I took an old Aluminium vacuum cleaner pipe, (Nilfisk) cut it 3x7,5 cm. for a mold.
- A piece of Duct Tape.
- An old dirty pot, for boiling water,
- A heat resistant container (glass, metal) for meld wax.
- But I used a wrong candle ( it was 100% pure stearin)
..Now.. I found that UCO Original Candle Lantern Candles,
use a 100 % PARAFFIN wax in the ALL of their 9 hours candles.
(ALSO in their 9 hrs “Blue Citronella” candles.
( - NOT in their smaller “Tea Candle Lights”, It is 100 % stearin)).
(.. And I also found this on the Internet,
from a shop who make and sell their own candles)
: It burns approx. 4 g less per hour of paraffin, versus stearin,
¿ because the wick is thinner in a paraffin light than in a candle light ?
That's because the melting point of paraffin is about 15 degrees lower (about 55 degrees celsius) relative to a candle light. (about 70 degrees c.).
- - Plz. Thumbs me up ! 👍
