Join us as we interview Lucianne, a dear friend from Brazil living in Montreux, Switzerland.

Lucianne works in the hospitality industry and we get an update on what is happening in both of the countries from her.

Brazil, one of the most beautiful and naturally gifted countries in the world, is currently experiencing a crisis and is feared to be one of the new COVID-19 pandemic hot spots. With many clinics already overwhelmed by coronavirus cases to take in any new patients, their healthcare is on the verge of collapse.

The political division within the country is not helping with the situation either. Their Health Minister being fired and Justice Minister resigning just gives a hint of the political turmoil over the COVID-19 situation in Brazil. With a huge population and the strife within the government, the country is slowly tipping towards the point of no return.

Luana also talks about Switzerland where they are preparing to remove the lockdown. Switzerland has over 31,000 confirmed cases right now and hopes to open up fully in June.

On the other hand, Brazil has reported over 293,000 corona cases, and the number is increasing rapidly. Our full support and prayers are with the people of Brazil during this time of hardship and turmoil.
