This 3.2 Audi suffered complete failure due to starvation of oil. the connecting rod and Piston disintegrated and blew a huge hole through the engine block! Furthermore these engines suffered from carbon buildup due to the direct injection system. Moreover, the timing chain system is on the back of the engine, meaning transmission removal of anything needed servicing.
