Artist Takeover with Michael Rzeznik. Michael (b.1995) England. Recently moved to London and currently working as a full-time Art Technician. Studied BA Fine Art at Reading university where he furthered his disciplines in Painting, sculpture, Digital and Curation. The practice of Curation in his current occupation is an important part of his own practice. Working on in-house exhibitions with both students and professional artists, as well as in other offsite galleries, for public and private art exhibitions in 2019. These careful considerations within curation; the artist thought, balance, flow, movement, composition, colour and more are common factors between his fulltime work and his art. For example, the choice of using an abstract background and realism within painting the object of choice in works like 'Donut 2020' Oil & Acrylic on canvas. Rzeznik studies ideologies in still life, greed, society and many more. These all come from observations that have been reflected within the artist's work through his own humorous take on the matter. His interests in art history, and his knowledge of artist processes, are shown throughout his work. He fluidly plays with mediums working between painting, digital, sculpture and photography, as well as conveying his ideas through theory, styles and art -isms within his pieces. This shows a commentary of artist processes and explores the boundless possibilities within art.
