Ghost fans are selling fake money from the band’s Skeletour shows in the UK, and some of it is going for a hefty price tag...

Listings for the confetti-style currency, which rained down at recent shows, have popped up on resale sites for as much as £52.72, sparking debate among fans about collector culture and band loyalty.

The notes, while not legal tender, have become a Ghost tradition dating back to 2015, with each tour featuring new designs tied to the band’s evolving lore. For Skeletour, the notes feature Frater Imperator, a key figure from the Impera and Prequelle eras. But with rising resale prices, some worry this beloved ritual could be at risk as bands clamp down on merch exploitation.

In addition, Ghost's no-phone policy at UK shows has had mixed feedback, with some shows not having a problem, but huge queues in Birmingham led to fans getting into the venue much later than anticipated. Ghost's new album Skeletá is being released this Friday, 25th April, and the Swedish metallers have just released the new single “Peacefield” which has drawn some interesting comparisons to a much-loved 80's song...
