Laundry met in the University of Oregon dorms during the fall of 2017 and began playing music together in the basement laundry room. Local bands like Spiller, Novacane, and the Graduating Class helped the four of them find gigs at nearby house parties and clubs, during which the band began to develop its energetic live performance and collaborative songwriting process.

Laundry lives together in Eugene, Oregon with a cat, a dog, and two rats. They’re currently working on writing a new album, graduating college, and moving to Portland.
