(The next uploads will be Mentors related and the reason why is explained below)Recently I came across this disc on E-Bay, thinking this was something special or rare (which might be) but nothing special other than an El Duce song on the last track of the album (definitely not worth the $20 I paid for it)
The album is Love Sandwich: Hollywood 4 Way. Made in 1995. I don't know too much about this album other than Steve Broy and El Duce Collaborated on this album.
I won't upload the rest of this album (as in my opinion, it kinda sucks), but this album made me realize something that I forgotten about.
A long while ago, I acquired a demo tape (literally a demo/rehearsal from 1981; cassette tape) of the Mentors performing songs that wouldn't be heard until years later on later albums, songs never heard before, and songs with alternate lyrics.
This tape was labeled "The Mentors 1981 Demo". It's double sided ("Side A" and "Side B") and it's about 38 minutes in length. Also I have no idea whether this tape was a bootleg or a copy of the original reels they recorded on.
I just found it and am in the middle of ripping the Cassette Tape. There are a lot of songs on this tape, but sadly the quality is quite bad and there are some songs (only 4 from what I can tell) that I can't understand with the hissing (so only will be up'ing the better quality songs).
