The IMarEST 117th Annual Dinner 2022, held on 25th March at Guildhall, City of London, was the first dinner following a 2-year hiatus during the covid pandemic. The outgoing 118th President, Kevin Daffey CEng CMarEng FIMarEST, and the incoming 119th President, Alastair Fischbacher FIMarEST, therefore gave a joint welcome speech. The after-dinner speaker was Martin Crawford-Brunt of Lookout Maritime. The event brought together hundreds of marine professionals, both members and welcomed guests of the Institute.
