This video shows how to build a high current adjustable DC power supply using an LM317 voltage regulator combined with a 2SC5200 power transistor. The LM317 sets the output voltage, while the 2SC5200 handles higher current loads that the LM317 alone cannot manage.

💡 How It Works:
The LM317 controls the base of the 2SC5200 via a resistor network and potentiometer. When the load requires more current than the LM317 can provide, the 2SC5200 bypasses current directly from input to output while maintaining the regulated voltage.

⚠️ Tip: Add a heatsink to both LM317 and 2SC5200 for stable performance.
