Fritz Kreisler's Liebesleid is a beautiful work written for violin and piano, but Rachmaninoff's arrangement of it for piano is a fantastic piece in its own right. Some parts look simple enough to sight-read, but the chromaticism, moving lines in each voice, and different textures combined with the overall light touch make it much more difficult and complex.
So how does Tiffany Poon interpret and perform this piece? That's what I'll be breaking down here!
