This little boy was napping on the street after selling flowers. A tourist from China visiting saw the little boy and went over to check on him. They checked to make sure he was still breathing and found out he was just tired. The next time they meet, the little boy spotted the tourist and ran over to introduce himself. He said that his name was "Lina" or something similar sounding to it.
At first, the tourist lady thought he was a little girl because of his long hair. She asked him if he was a girl but the boy didn't respond. The tourist did figure out he's a little boy not a little girl. That seemed to made the kid more comfortable.
He voluntarily took the tourist to see his city. He took her to the best spots, translated for her. She got to talk to a few locals. They all seem to be quite welcoming and nice.
The Chinese tourist bought the little boy ice cream/ popsicle and a drink he wanted. The little boy was so happy he couldn't stop smiling. He even took her to meet his friends. But the fun was suddenly interrupted when a group of soldiers passed by and they scared away the boy for the tourist thinking they were bothering her.
After clearing things up, the little boy reappeared. He led her to the opposite direction of the soldiers and she told him that he could pick out a toy from a store. The little boy was very happy but he was careful not to pick something too expensive. He asked for the price first before confirming his choice. It was a blue slime toy inside a plastic container.
At the end of the night, the tourist asked the little boy if he wanted her to walk him home but the little boy said that his home is too far away so it's okay, he'll walk home himself.
After walking away for a while, the little boy mysteriously showed up again. He wanted a second goodbye. He waved at the tourist from afar. The lady has probably given the little boy one of the best days of his life.
This was filmed in Syria. The female tourist probably had a man with her. She was not alone. Because in other videos she posted there are always a man with her. There is an on-going civil war conflict in Syria right now. It's actually not advisable to travel to Syria at the moment. I do not encourage any woman especially to travel alone to a country experiencing a war. Please be careful.
The people of Syria may not all be as kind and nice as the people shown in this video. I would say this about any other country. There is always inherent danger when travelling anywhere. I don't want this video to be the reason someone goes travelling to a country with an ongoing war alone and experiencing something different to what they expected.
