The visuals on this video are meant to show the fragility of a relationship and that it is often the little things, the tiny details, that break us apart.

Full disclosure: This song/video is not about my wife and we are happy together but I've had my share of heartache as well and I hoped it would, in some way, reflect that universal experience. This goes out to everyone who's ever been in that fragile place.

I cannot believe today is finally here. I started working on this record in 2016 (hence the title) and I knew then I wanted it to be special. I knew that I wanted it to be more than the sum of its parts and more than just a demonstration of music making technology. I knew I wanted to say something and I knew I wanted it to demonstrate craft, skill, thoughtfulness and a polish that I hadn't previously demonstrated. I knew that I wished to exceed my own ambition and I don't know if I did that but I do know I am proud to present to you "Years."

I think this record has a little something for everyone. There are synthwave/electro tracks like this one. There are trip hop tunes, ambient textures, pop, rock, indie electronica, dreamy stuff, hip hop, shoegaze, etc. It covers a lot of ground. It covers a lot of ground and I think anyone can find things they like here.

I share this art with you and I do hope you'll give it a shot.
