A young, intelligent, and hardworking engineer lived in a quiet neighborhood of the city. His wife, Mrs. Betul, was a patient, kind, and forward-looking woman. They had just learned that they were going to have twin children soon; sweet news that had filled their lives with hope and excitement. Their home was filled with preparations and plans for a brighter future, and they both eagerly counted the days remaining until the birth of their children.

But at the height of this peace and sweet anticipation, something unexpected suddenly happened. Isa, a man from the past who had long been absent from their lives, knocked on their door unannounced and uninvited. He looked tired and regretful. His eyes were full of longing and his lips were ready to apologize. He had come to console them, to ask for forgiveness for the mistakes he had made in the past. Perhaps the words, actions, or behavior that had left a deep wound in the hearts of the engineer and Betul.

The engineer, who was still hurt by those bitter memories, could not contain his anger. A fierce verbal conflict broke out between the two. But Isa sincerely and beseeched him to forgive the past. He repeatedly said: "I made a mistake, but now I have changed. Please forgive me."

Mrs. Betul, with a big and maternal heart that had perhaps become thinner due to the approaching moment of childbirth, calmly looked at her husband and explained that this was a time for forgiveness, not fighting. The engineer, although difficult, but influenced by Betul's gaze and the special situation of their lives, finally decided to forgive Isa.

But this forgiveness was not unconditional. He told Isa bluntly:
"We have forgiven you, but if you try to hurt us again, I will deal with you again and there will be no mercy."

This sentence was not just a warning, but a clear line between forgiveness and abuse. The engineer showed that he was generous, but not naive.
