The funeral service for Lance Bombardier Itumeleng Moreo is under way at the Unibo Chapel in the North West capital Mahikeng. Moreo was amongst fourteen SANDF members who were killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo during a fight between M23 rebels and the Congolese army in January 2025.
He was part of a peacekeeping mission.
