A sequence showing industrial process of making thermos flasks. Inner and outer glass is moulded and shaped separately and later put together on a special rotating machine. A pure silver is pumped into glasses (so they can retain heat) on a circular rotating machine. Flasks are placed on a roller belt so the silver is spread evenly round the glass - shiny flasks look great.

Flasks are showered with boiling water - all the faulty ones break. Flasks travel further to be stored for 24 hours to make sure they retain temperature. Final check is done by hand - a girl is seen checking each individual flask - dropping a faulty one in a container filled with silvery glass.

In the final stage the rest of the thermos bottle is produced, plastic caps, lids, containers. A girl checking cups popping out of machine. Several shots of process of assembling lid, putting finished glass into plastic container and assembling thermos bottles. Various shots of different designs and colours of thermos bottles.
