As the manhunt continues to unfold, friends and family of those killed on Sunday are grieving. While a lot of people on the James Smith Cree Nation are not speaking with media, others are and telling the story of what they say will highlight the deep-rooted problems that may have contributed to this mass killing. Heather Yourex-West reports.
In the U.K., Liz Truss has officially become prime minister and after meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, she wasted no time appointing cabinet ministers she wants to work with. Many emergency rooms have been temporarily closed and the state of Canadian health care has reignited the long-running debate about privatization. And as the manhunt for Myles Sanderson continues, the people of Weldon, Sask., one of the two communities impacted by the stabbings, remain on edge.
