
• Arch your back; the surfboard nose should be 2cm out of the water.
• Center yourself on the board, feet together to reduce drag.
• Hand entry: High elbow, hand in front of your shoulder, near the rail.
• Catch: Keep your elbow high, arm wrapping around an imaginary log.
• Pull: Align your hand and forearm, fingers together for max propulsion.
• Recovery: Elbow exits first, leading your hand into the next stroke.
