🤔 Getting that warm kick and bass in your tracks without muddying the mix is easier than you think!

😎 All you need to do is grab your favorite equalizer, apply it to the kick and bass buss, and gently boost the 50Hz region with a low shelf (2 to 3dB maximum).

✅ Then, compress the signal using a transparent compressor (like the one that comes with your DAW). The attack should be relatively fast (around 17ms at 150BPM), and the release should be relaxed.

🟢 For the ratio, 2:1 is more than enough, as we’re aiming for gentle, transparent compression. The gain reduction shouldn’t exceed 2dB.
