
One could argue 😉 that you don’t need to grow all the different varieties there are if you can eat everything off one plant. Let’s say you grow a calabrese (or broccoli):
- use the leaves as kale or cabbage
- the stem as kohlrabi
- the secondary flower shoots like sprouting broccoli
- or even the seedlings as micro greens!
But where is the fun in that 😂
Also, the yellow flowers are safe to eat too and are delicious 😋 So don’t worry if the plant has bolted before you managed to pick the shoots!
