The 2018 Ford Mustang is more than a mid-cycle refresh. This new Ford Mustang gets a new front end, including bumper, spoiler, grille, LED headlamps, lower hood and fenders. the back gets new tail lamps and rear bumper. The Mustang is no longer sold with a V6 engine, the 2.3L EcoBoost is now the base engine and the 5.0L V8 is still in the GT trim but now with 460hp, on regular gas. The bigger changes happen under the car with the old performance package becoming the new standard suspension and the addition of the Magnaride, magnetic ride control being offered on the EcoBoost and GT models. There is a new 10-speed automatic that delivers mixed results, rather good at getting the power to the rear wheels quickly but this transmission doe not feel precise. The interior can now be equipped with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and soft-touch centre console but only on the top trim. The addition of Magnaride and a more powerful V8 makes this car a dream to drive.
