As part of the popular Wild Card series of artists curated evenings, Keira Martin brings a night asking the question “who owns culture” drawing on Irish, African and Jamaican heritages.
Part performance, part live gig, she presents an extract of her acclaimed solo Here Comes Trouble, an honest and poignant personal exploration of womanhood and identity, directed by Charlotte Vincent.
Keira is joined by special guests: theatre director Anthony Ekundayo-Lennon, dance artist Akeim Toussaint Buck and exceptional musicians Damien O'Kane, Cormac Byrne, Michael Walsh and Donald Edwards. The evening also includes a conversation facilitated by performer and choreographer Louise Katerega unpicking questions of identity, heritage, culture and class.
