Giant Robot pays homage to the 1960/70 TV shows that made me run home from school. Contrary to the usual SuiTried fodder, it is quite unabashedly nostalgic and simplistic. The bulk of the piece is in C Major, and only goes Minor when the bad guys appear. Giant Robot was originally conceived as an example project for students attending my non-profit resource center; Aegis Education Endeavor (AEE). This project is intended to help students develop story telling skills using music and images.
Giant Robot was produced in FL Studio 11. Yes, the visuals as well, thanks to ZGame Visualizer. Image-Line Software is a cornerstone of our curriculum. It is the perfect mix of fun and sophistication.
