Jimi Hendrix's acoustic recording of "Hear My Train A Comin'" is definitely my favorite recording of his. He has so many iconic performances, but there is something about hearing his playing stripped down on the 12-string acoustic that really has a different soul. He's the master of feedback and electric guitar, but the very few recordings of him on acoustic show how he can bring the soul out of the instrument, even in it's rawest, most un-adorned form. I've gotten a lot of requests for my to cover this song, so here it is!
