This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2022 Genesis G70 compact sport sedan.What’s new in this redesigned Genesis G70? It has a more aggressive front end that is lower and wider with a sharpened silhouette. Genesis says, it is the most athletic sport sedan in its lineup. The new, stacked quad LED headlights have a distinctive look and the Intelligent Front-Lighting system allows the driver to travel with their high beams on without blinding oncoming traffic. The LEDs have individual electronic controls that automatically turn up or dim down as required. The G70 comes standard with LED headlights and taillights. The G70 has two engines; the base engine is a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This G70 Sport model we are testing in Uyuni White has a 3.3L twin turbo-charged V6 with an 8 speed automatic transmission, 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. It comes with Adaptive sport suspension, Limited Slip Differential, Brembo brakes, 19” aluminum alloy wheels, 18” are standard, as is a power sunroof. AWD is standard in Canada but both RWD and AWD are available in the US.
