Welcome back, in this episode I start to sort out the cellar of our 120 year old house in Normandy, France.
We have been living here for 6 months now and a lot of items were put in the cellar making it very difficult to use the space as a workshop. With most of the urgent tasks now done inside the house to make it habitable, I thought it was time to make a start on sorting out the cellar.
The floor in the cellar appears to be crushed limestone with 120 years of dirt over the top. In places there have been patches of concrete laid to stand things on (some shelving, the oil tank, the boiler, the hot water cylinder etc).
