These may look like just some mounds of soil on the ground, but if we look farther, those aren’t actually mountains, those are hills! But how in the world are there so many of them? Why are they so smooth, and are these actually man-made? This amazing place is called the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Philippines. Which look like a bunch of chocolatey hills, just like chocolate kisses! Believe it or not, these are naturally shaped hills. They're mostly made of a kind of rock called marine limestone. These were originally rocks that got pushed up by massive tectonic forces underground, kind of like how the burger patty tries to escape when you bite it. Rainwater then eroded the limestone rocks, forming the cones, like what happens when sandcastles break down and get wet. But the most interesting thing of all is during the dry season, the grass in the hills turns brown, making them look like actual chocolates! But if a chocolate this big actually exists, would you eat it though?
