Craig and I left for Concord, North Carolina on Monday, traveling the 20+ hours and 1300+ miles. November 4, 2020 we made it to Charlotte Dirt Track to watch the World of Outlaws Late Model season final called the Last Call. Meeting us at the track was two buddies of mine Don and Doug Hammer who made the trip from central Illinois. Dons kid Kyle was pitting for Dennis Erb Jr this weekend. Fun to be around all three of them again, over my racing years in Illinois I have at one time crewed for all three of them. Kyle Larson set the new track record during qualifying @ 14.305. Brandon Overton won the race with Dennis Erb Jr finishing 2nd followed by Tim McCreadie. World of Outlaws 10x champ, Donny Schatz finished an impressive 4th. I made this video from my phone.😀
