Sometimes inspiration doesn’t come quietly. Breezy was born just after a storm rolled through. I was sitting outside, watching the aftermath—sky still unsettled, the air charged—and suddenly, a Taiko rhythm hit me. It was intense, percussive, and immediate. That rhythm became the foundation of the entire piece.
The title Breezy is intentionally ironic. There’s nothing light or gentle about this music. From the opening downbeat, it hits with force and tension—just like a storm that refuses to be forgotten.

⚡ The Sound
At its core, Breezy is cinematic and rhythm-driven. It’s built around a structure that mirrors the anatomy of a storm:
Act I: The Hit – Thunderous Taiko drums and distorted synths emulate the chaos of nature at full force.
Act II: The Eye – The energy dips into a tense calm. Not restful—just momentary stillness.
Act III: The Return – The full intensity comes roaring back, but this time with purpose and momentum.
Everything is driven by rhythm. The synths, processed through distortion and deep reverb, mimic thunder. The silences in between aren’t pauses—they’re loaded with pressure.

🎧 The Gear Behind the Sound
Taiko drums – For that deep, ceremonial weight.
Synths + Distortion/Reverb – Designed to sound more like weather than instruments.
Space – Used not just musically, but emotionally—to stretch and hold tension.
The result is a piece that doesn’t just play—it moves. It carries you with it.

🎞 A Visual Experience
The visuals are grounded in the same storm energy: people fighting through wind, surrounded by swirling chaos—but pushing forward. There’s a quiet triumph in the struggle. The storm is the setting, but it’s not the end.
The contrast between the title Breezy and the intensity on screen adds a layer of meaning. It’s not about serenity—it’s about surviving the elements and emerging stronger.

✨ How Should It Make You Feel?
Like you're standing in the middle of the storm—and choosing to stay there. Not as a victim, but as part of it. You’re not watching the storm—you are the storm.
