Which is better: chain restaurants or family owned restaurants?

Chain restaurants are a "safe bet", especially if you want a specific item made the same way every single time. They will also give you the same boring item every time too. 

Family-owned and operated restaurants take more pride in the work they’re doing. They actually care about what they’re making and serving their guests. You'll get much better food and experiences here. 

The way I see it, family owned restaurants are better. It’s a no brainer.
