Marziyeh, smiling and her hands already speckled with paint, joins in to help them, and their laughter fills the air. On this joyful day, Fariba decides to invite Dora’s family—who live nearby—to their home. The guests arrive with warm smiles, and Fariba welcomes them with heartfelt hospitality. She serves them hot tea and freshly baked bread. Meanwhile, Nasro softly plays a melody on his ney. The sound of the ney carries with it the sorrow of leaving and memories of their former home. Grandmother, whose heart is still tied to the old house, begins to cry without realizing it. But later that same day, as the dim light of sunset settles over the farm, a stranger approaches Dora’s field. His figure seems familiar, and his face holds a quiet, mysterious smile. As he comes closer, Grandmother suddenly recognizes him—an old friend from their former village. This time, her tears are tears of joy. The reunion makes the new house feel a little more familiar, a little more like home.
