How do you build the musicality of a piece or song you're working on? What are the steps to developing musicality? That's what I try to tackle in this video.Last year I made a video called 15 Levels of Playing the Piano where I talked about levels of technicality in playing the piano. However, with upcoming videos on different technical and musical concepts, I figured it'd be nice to make another video along the same lines, except this time I discuss musicality.
But of course, musicality is a very difficult concept to explain, which is why I made another video on it last year, too. In light of that, this video isn't a hard-set, clear-cut definition of levels; rather, it's how I broke it down after thinking about it for a few days that's subject to change (and does change somewhat) every time I sit down to learn a new piece.
