-- ENG -- As we know, the Greek Hellenic metal scene has been full of passionate and quality artists since the 1990s. After Greek legends such as ROTTING CHRIST, NECROMANTIA (which split in 2021), NIGHTFALL (which also released a new opus in 2025 for which we interviewed too the singer Efthimis Karadimas), SEPTICFLESH (formerly SEPTIC FLESH), CHAOSTAR, FIREWIND and GUS G., or more recently Helena Kotina (ex-PAUL DI ANNO, NERVOSA), here is LUCIFER'S CHILD !
@LucifersChild was formed in 2013 by George Emmanuel (former ROTTING CHRIST) and Stathis Ridis (NIGHTFALL).In March 2025, they released their already 3rd studio album of black/dark metal The Illuminant (@AgoniaRec) led so by their highly motivated guitarist/singer George Emmanuel from Athens (Attica). And its frontman is not really unknown to us since he has officiated in NECROMANTIA, CHAOSTAR, and well, ROTTING CHRIST then... On The Illuminant, it is therefore natural to hear here and there charming influences, sometimes melancholic, sometimes occult, all Mediterranean, coming from near or far from the aforementioned illustrious Greek formations...

Et son frontman ne nous est pas vraiment inconnu puisqu'il a officié dans NECROMANTIA, CHAOSTAR, et bien, ROTTING CHRIST ensuite... Sur The Illuminant, il est donc naturel d'entendre ici et là de charmantes influences, tantôt mélancoliques, tantôt occultes, toutes méditerranéennes, venues de près ou de loin des illustres formations grecques précitées...ensuite...
