Golpe is the flamenco guitar tapping technique. This can be executed on its own or with an index finger downstroke. When you first learn how to play Golpe you soon discover it is not as easy as it looks. Like anything worthwhile it takes practice. If I can do it....anyone can do it. This technique is used to make a percussive sound on the guitar soundboard, typically below the high E string near the sound hole.
