A Markham, Ont., jewelry store owner tells Global News he fought back against three men who broke into his store and tried to rob him.

Jerry Sorani shared surveillance video that shows him confronting the thieves during a brazen smash-and-grab at his store in Markville Mall back in October.

Sorvani says he didn’t want the thieves to get away with his valuables and decided to intervene in the moment.
