Santana topped the album chart twice in 1970 with their album Abraxas. The Beatles charted with Let It Be and Led Zeppelin hit the top with Led Zeppelin 2. Creedence Clearwater Revival also charted with their album Cosmo's Factory. There were also a number of hit songs released in 1970. Into the Mystic by Van Morrison was released in 1970, as was Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd. Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Doors, and BB King also released albums in 1970, making it a great year in history for rock music.
