I have been a huge Queen fan forever, and have always admired and loved Freddie Mercury. Of course there is no denying that the film “Bohemian Rhapsody” brought back so many emotions. I pulled out all my old Queen DVDs and went on a YouTube binge for anything Queen & Freddie Mercury. Man, can that guy work a crowd; what performer. I connect with Freddie on so many levels; with his live life his way attitude, and how he approached his music with no rules. I do not believe in rules either; especially when it comes to music and art. Rules are tiresome. You cannot put Queen or Freddie Mercury in a box. They are one of a kind and there will never be another. (For the record, you can’t put Rob GEE in a box either and there will never be another, baby.) We will always have the music and memories. No one can take those away from us; a special gift given to us from a special person and special band. I am usually not the one to do a “bootleg” or “mashup” or whatever the latest catchphrase is, but I needed to do this. So this is my gift to you, Queen, and Freddie Mercury.
“Hail Queen” (I Miss U Freddie)
