Signs of a bad ac pressure cutoff switch. Ac not blowing cold? Ac blowing warm air? Ac working inconsistent? Clicking noise from compressor? Check the ac pressure switch by testing it. There are two ac pressure switch. The low side switch and high side switch. Low side is used to monitor for low pressure caused by refrigerant leaks. Refrigerant leaks/pag oil can cause ac compressor to run dry causing it to fail prematurely.
The high pressure switch is used to turn off the ac compressor if pressure gets too high. This can cause ac line to burst, o-rings to leak and cause ac compressor to fail.
