NOTE:
When you are making the master tape, please cut off the frequencies with graphic EQ, more preferably:
Everything below 30 nz
Everything above 16 khz
Lower the frequency at 125 nz deep while you just lower the 60 hz band a bit. You have to lower both 60 as well as 125, but decrease the 125 fader the most until you are satisfied.
Lower frequency at 250 just slightly and dont touch 500 hz.
Start building up a curve from 1 khz till 16 khz until you get the expected result.

This way your recordings on normal tapes with Telex unit will give you pretty good dynamic range and balanced sound spectrum. No overwhelming bass and low frequencies any more.
