I've had a Volca Bass for a few weeks, but haven't actually done anything with it. Now was the time for that to change so I paired it with Novation Circuit for some trancey goodness! The original plan was to do a goa track in the style of Astral Projections, but no luck making it work this time. Went with something more lower tempo instead.


The roles of the machines were reversed a bit: the Circuit does the bassline while Volca is on the lead/pluck duty. All of this was finished with a bunch of effects to give more spaaaaaaaaaaaaace.

And a final tip: sometimes I can't come up with a good song title.. so it's time to cheat a bit! A site called "Seventh Sanctum" is the perfect place for all kinds of nerdy'n'geeky title/idea generating. The "Science Fiction Tarot Card Generator" was responsible for the name of this track.
