He leave the best food for his sister. He was a ray of sunshine despite sad circumstances. The teacher even took him to get shoes one day.
But tragedy struck, he got into an accident and the boy didn't make it. His death was so sudden that the students didn't get to say a proper goodbye.
Everything happened so fast. The teacher realized he must do something as the peers are about to graduate. The student was the most loved kid in class so you can imagine how much his death affected his peers.
With pictures printed he visited the boy's family hoping he could convince them to let them see their child one last time before they all parted ways. It's especially hard because in their village, they don't believe in visiting graves, in fact, they don't even give him a gravestone.
On way there, the man got into an accident. It cost him $200k in local currency. On average a teacher makes 30k - 80k in salary a year in local currency. But at least he's fine. He'll have to pay it off somehow. He first thought maybe the boy didn't want him to visit his parents and bother them but looking at the extent of car damages, he realized that perhaps the boy protected him.
They ended up paying him one last visit. He must be smiling down on them in heaven.
