This is part of the monochromatic series I’ve been doing of gouache on pastel paper. This one started out in my mind as more plant like and organic but then became something else entirely. Now I see a figure in a helmet on the left with kind of an energy force field and the pod shaped ball on the right looks furry to me with floating eye balls on antennae. The music was lent to me by James Short who is a talented artist, designer and musician. He made this song with his friend in the eighties.
