This video was entirely shot in the Tribe of Tiendanite, in the central mountain chain of Northern Kanaky/New-Caledonia. It’s aim is to put in focus the culture and traditions of the Kanak people, as well as to empower the new generation through pride and knowledge of self. Tribal peoples of the world are facing a great challenge in an ever accelerating world, where the youth are enquiring about identity and still struggle to find a steady place between tradition and modernity. May their cause be heard.
