Hello again, I'm back with a follow-up video, this time focusing on popular Royal Guard shields: Sacred Mission, Mirror Shield, Shield of Naga, Stone Buckler, Static Shield, Imperial Guard and Giant Shield. Here I share the builds and roles that are usually associated with each shield, along with pros and cons based on their stats, which I compiled on the spreadsheet below.
Many of the Shields are "specialized", meaning they are meant to work for a specific set of skills like Overbrand, Grand Cross, Shield Boomerang, Shield Chain Etc. The real contention will be between defensive shields: Stone Buckler vs Static Shield vs Imperial Guard.
For some future-proofing, I've also included what I think are the advantages of Synth shields, based on information that's been floating around from the official Beta server. Just note that none of these stats are final, there maybe changes big or small upon actual implementation.
Finally, I also share a glimpse of how my tank / battle chant / ED build is progressing, with a quick damage test for those that watch the video till the end. (Disclaimer still very weak damage lol).
