Also known as The Saga of Gunnlaug Serpent-Tongue, this saga is read from the English translation from 1901 by William Morris & Eirikr Magnusson from the original Icelandic 'Gunnlaugs saga ormstungu', which is in the public domain and can be found to read for free at as well as Project Gutenberg.The saga begins where Egil’s Saga ends with Egil’s son Þorsteinn having a prophetic dream of two eagles fighting over a swan. This dream is interpreted for him and although he doesn’t like what he hears, it slowly proves true throughout the tale.
