These ruins are part of the Diplomat Hotel located in Baguio City, considered one of the most haunted places in the Philippines. Originally named the Dominican Hill Retreat House, it was built in 1913 as a vacation house for American missionaries. But during World War II, the place was used as a base by the Japanese Secret Police called the Kempeitai, and many were killed or tortured, including nuns and priests. After the war, the house was rebuilt to a hotel, but guests and staff have reported paranormal activity, such as seeing ghosts, hearing strange noises, feeling cold spots, and a sense of unease.
