To explore this, I run an experiment using several AI logo makers, like logoai.com, Logo Pony, Design.com, Brandmark, ChatGPT, and Canva's AI logo creator, to design logos for a fictional company called EcoGlow Lighting Solutions. As I review each logo, I point out the issues and limitations—like random icon choices, weird font combos, and the lack of context that AI just doesn't get. Even the better ones, like the results from Brandmark, still don't fully capture the company's vibe.
I also share a bit about my early design days and how I learned that good design doesn't have to be literal—something AI often struggles with. For those who can't afford a pro designer, I suggest using Canva templates or just picking a good font for your business name as a simple starting point. Remember, while logos are important for your brand's credibility, they're not the be-all and end-all of your success.
