Meet the most powerful prisoner in the world. Marcola leads the PCC, Brazil’s largest prison gang. Based in Sao Paulo, and with over 30,000 members, this violent organization has massacred police, murdered judges, and shut down entire cities. The PCC controls 60% of Brazil’s cocaine market and is responsible for the biggest bank robberies in Brazil’s history.
This is Dogs of War, a show about the world’s most dangerous conflicts and the people driving them. In this episode, presenter Sahar Zand explains how the PCC violently expanded across South America.
